Jean E. Kriscunas, 87, 9601 Union Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Catherine Kasper Life Care Center, in Plymouth.
Jean Martin and Al Kriscunas were married in 1949, in South Bend, Indiana. They lived all of their married life in the Plymouth Pretty Lake area.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nellie Martin; her husband, Al; one son, Michael; and three brothers.
Survivors include one son, Robert and wife Suzy; one daughter-in-law, Jody Kriscunas; one granddaughter, Katie Kain; and one grandson, Steve Kirscunas.
A funeral mass will be held to celebrate the life of Jean on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., at Saint Michael Catholic Church, in Plymouth, with the Rev. Father William Kummer officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Friends may call on Monday, February 23, 2009, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Saint Michael Catholic Church or to the Plymouth Fire Department Scholarship Fund.
