Donna M. Stayton, age 74, of 15960 West 13th Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at 2:48 a.m. in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of South Bend, Indiana.
Donna was born on October 28, 1934, in Fulton County, Indiana, to Donald and
MaryJane (Woolington) Wallace. Donna and Lynn Stayton were married in Parker, Arizona, on November 27, 1968. They lived in California before moving to Plymouth in 1979. Donna worked at Wagner Electric for several years. She loved to crochet, go fishing, bowl, and especially enjoyed baby sitting for the children of her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Stayton; her daughter, Tena Lade of Plymouth; her sons, Billy Himes and Terry Wallace; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services, for Donna, will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. George Shoemaker officiating.
Friends and family may visit Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society, 601 West Edison Road, Mishawaka, Indiana, 46545 or to the Marshall County Humane Society at P.O. Box 22, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
