Terry D. Bagley, 70, 2428 West Jefferson Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 3:55 p.m. at the Veterans Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Terry was born on September 12, 1938, in Plymouth, to Frank and Mary (Cunningham) Bagley. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Korea in the communications department. Terry and Sarah Benson were married on June 9, 1961, in LaPaz, Indiana. Terry worked for the railroad, as a conductor, for 30 years. He enjoyed reading about the Civil War, World War II, and researching genealogy.
Terry is survived by his wife, Sarah; their daughter, Tricia (Joe) Deisch of Plymouth; their sons, Duane Bagley of Plymouth, Shane Bagley of Argos, Indiana, and David (Christine) Bagley of Euerka, California; three grandchildren, Christian, Lauren, and Madisyn; his brother, Harold (Bonnie) Bagley of Bremen, Indiana; his half-brother, Mike (Pam) Markley of Bremen; his sister, Debbie (Bunk) Eppert of LaPaz; several nieces; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen in 1993; his brother David; and his sisters, Jean and Fran. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at the Plymouth Missionary Church, 1350 East Jefferson Street, Plymouth. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Military graveside honors will be presented by the American Legion Post #2 7of Plymouth. Friends are invited to visit with the family and share their memories, of Terry, on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, and one hour prior to the funeral, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Plymouth Missionary Church on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
