Bruce M. Foster, 59, of 926 Miner Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009, and has gone to be with the Lord. He was born on September 29, 1949. He was the husband and best friend of Carol Stull Foster; the greatest dad of Daniel Foster, Tempe, Arizona, Troy (Lisa) Blackburn of Clovis, New Mexico, and Libby Blackburn of Plymouth; proud Grandpa of Kendall and Jackson Blackburn of Clovis; and the brother of Steve Foster and Sam Foster of Rochester, Indiana. Bruce was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and Lake Bruce, Indiana. He graduated from Monterey High School, Monterey, Indiana, and Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Bruce's humor and his strength, in all that he did, will always be an inspiration.
A celebration of Bruce's life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Blissville Church of the Brethren, 6250 Spruce Trail, Plymouth, with the Rev. Dester Cummins officiating. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the celebration, of Bruce's life, at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to share their humorous memories of one great guy!!!
Bruce has requested that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to the Marshall-Starke Development Center, 1901 Pidco Drive, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, or to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 120 South Center Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
