JIM AND PATRICIA LEHMAN

James D. Lehman, age 66, of 18580 9C Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2009, at the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, in Plymouth.

Jim was born on April 13, 1943, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to Don and Juanita (Nye) Lehman. He graduated from Plymouth High School in the "Class of 1961". Jim worked as an occupational therapist. He was also a member of the Plymouth Police Department and later drove truck for Reynolds Trucking and Chase Leasing.

Jim and Patricia Schroeder were united in marriage on June 4, 1966, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Jim was a member of Saint Michael Catholic Church, Plymouth.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia Lehman of Plymouth; their daughter, Chris (Steve) Sponseller of Clunette, Indiana; his sisters, Jayne (Tom) Heet of Plymouth and Janice (Eugene) Cooper of Argos, Indiana; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

The Lehman Family requests that memorial contributions be given to Saint Michael Catholic School or to the North Judson Train Museum.
