Freddie "Jr." Fritter, age 63, of 14725 Juniper Road, Argos, Indiana, passed away at 10:20 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2009, at his home.
Freddie was born on June 9, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana, to Freddie and Florence (Pugh) Fritter. Freddie had been a resident of the Marshall County Area all his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed bowling, golf, antique cars, and fishing trips.
Freddie is survived by his sons, Rod (Sherri) Fritter of Bremen and Chris (Linda) Knill of Plymouth; his daughter, Angie (Jim) Huff of Plymouth; his brothers, Jack (Genie) Fritter of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Tom Fritter of Argos, Indiana; his mother, Florence Fritter of Argos; and his sisters, Betty (Gail) Kaser of Teegarden, Indiana and Barbara (Sam) Cook of Argos. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Fritter.
A time of visiting with the Fritter family will be on Friday, October 30, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
There will be no funeral services and cremation will take place.
Memorials may be given to the Fritter family.
