Eleanor B. Wilson, 89, of 625 Oak Hill Avenue, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at 8:05 p.m., at the Catherine Kasper Life Care Center in Donaldson, Indiana.

Eleanor was born on July 9, 1920, in Plymouth, to Clifford and Melita (Shoemaker) Burkett. Eleanor Burkett and John F. Wilson were married, in Plymouth, on June 10, 1945. John passed away on May 2, 1991. Eleanor worked at Memorial Hospital, in South Bend, Indiana, as a laboratory technician. She later worked at Dorothy's Hallmark, in Plymouth. She and John both sang in the Community Choir and in their church choir at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church, in Plymouth, where they were both members. Eleanor was a member of Tri Kappa Associate Chapter in Plymouth.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Mike) Hayden of Walkerton, Indiana; her son, Dr. Thomas (Julie) Wilson of Tucson, Arizona; her granddaughters Megan (John) Barker of Australia, Trisha Luebcke of Orlando, Florida; and her great-grandson, Thomas Barker of Australia.

Eleanor's family would like for memorial contributions to be given to the Marshall County Humane Society, Post Office Box 25, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
