Pearl E. Wolff, age 96, of 20016 West 4B Road Walkerton, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth, Indiana.
Pearl was born on November 25, 1913, in Walkerton, Indiana, to John A. and Ida I. (Cover) Gardner. Pearl and Raymond A. Wolff were united in marriage on December 22, 1934. He preceded Pearl in death on July 18, 1978.
Pearl was a lifetime resident of the Marshall County Area. She was a member of the Tyner United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Women's Church Group. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday School in her church. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker, mother, and caring for her family. Her grandchildren were very special to her and she loved them very much.
Pearl is survived by her daughter, Janet (Daniel) Smith of Walkerton; her sons, John (Rosemary) Wolff of Walkerton and James (Connie) Wolff of Walkerton. Pearl is also survived by; five grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wolff; her sisters, Myrtle E. Walter and Flossie Fitzgerald; her brothers, Vern R. Gardner and Floyd W. Gardner; and her grandson, John.
